Project Description
Caroline Balz, Advisory Board Member
Boston, Massachusetts
Caroline Balz started her career as a Management Consultant before heading to graduate School to obtain two master’s degrees: one in Organizational Psychology and one in Counseling Psychology. She served as Chairman of the Board of the Multiservice Eating Disorder Association for 5 years and an active board member for 10. She has spoken at numerous conferences about applications of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy including its application for suicide prevention, assessment and clinical management. After 16 years in private practice and renovating her 1840’s farmhouse, Caroline felt the connection between psychology and interior design. The synergy between how people feel and function in their space was very apparent to her. With the realization that she could pair her two passions, Psychological Interiors was born. She maintains her private practice and license while also doing interior design. Caroline is active with nonprofit charity work including the American Parkinson’s Association and The Emerald Necklace Conservancy.
