Launch2Life will be funded by donations, fundraising events, and merchandise sales.
Our first goal is to certify adults, especially those working with youth, in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). In a partnership with AIM/YMH in California, we will coordinate certification training for the staff of schools, from principals to grounds crew, and community centers to be trained in Mental Health First Aid. Training will help adults identify the signs of distress and mental health challenges in the students attending their schools and in their communities.
We believe that it takes a village to succeed so when adults are trained in MHFA and paying attention, it shows our youth that their community cares about them, values them and is available to help them.
